'To be the best you can be' - Article 29

Summer 2019

Summer Term 2019

Our topic for the Summer term is:

How many pebbles on a beach?

The children in the Observation and Assessment Unit will be studying the topic 'Beach' during the Summer term and will be carrying out beach visits and looking at beach habitats. The children will be encouraged to create beach crafts and conduct experiments with floating and sinking.

This terms books are:-

Goodnight pirate

Peppa pigs pirate party

Horray for fish

Little fish

Counting fish

Children will need to come prepared with swimming costumes and an old towel as we are planning to get very wet!!

If any parent feels that they could offer anything to this topic (in terms of coming in and engaging in activity with the children) we would be very grateful.

REMEMBER we have an open door policy in the O.A.U. and are always willing to lend an ear to our parents.

Many thanks

Mrs. Lucas, Miss Watkins & Miss Labbett
