Summer 2021

Summer Term 2021

Our topic for the Summer term is:

How many pebbles on the beach?

This term we are learning about the sea-side.  Unfortunately we will be unable to go on school visits because of Covid 19.

The children will be learning about:

  • Sea creatures
  • Carrying out sand play
  • Listening to stories, poems and songs about the sea-shore.

We will be asking parents (if possible) to take their children on visits to the beach in order to collect beach items and play beach games.

This terms books/stories include:

  • Maisie at the beach
  • Peppa Pig goes to the beach

As usual we will be carrying out a lot of outdoor activities so please ensure that your child is provided with suitable clothing.

Also because we are venturing into the Summer Term please could you provide your child with a bather and towel for water play/paddling pool activities and suncream for the hot weather.

*************************************************************

We look forward to your continued cooperation.

**REMEMBER we have an open door policy so feel free to telephone/email or contact via dojo if you have any questions, queries or concerns.
