^{Dear Parents/Carers;}

^{At the beginning of every academic year we feel it is important to develop the pupils’ awareness of themselves and what makes them special; their features, their identity, their culture and traditions, their home language and their family.}

^{We also want to develop their sense of Cynefin and belonging to the area of Morriston so, each class takes an element of Morriston to explore in greater depth; exploring our immediate community, before we branch out wider to Wales and the world around us. Within year 3-4 we like to focus on the Morris family and the recreational activities within the local area with an emphasis on the facilities available within Morriston Park. By the end of this mini topic, learners will answer the following 'Big question':}
