Santes Dwynwen The Welsh Patron Saint of Love
In Wales on January 25th we celebrate Santes Dwynwen Day (Saint Dwynwen). She is the Welsh patron saint of love and not to be mistaken for St Valentine.
There are some fun activities below that you may want to try at home. They range from conducting an ice cube science experiment; creating your own story journey on the story of Santes Dwynwen; making biscuits; and making origami hearts!
You may also want to make a Santes Dwynwen card and give it to someone.
As well as the focus assignments and challenges that your class teachers have set you during this period of school closures, I have attached some fun Welsh themed challenges, that you may want to try at home.
