Blended Learning

Blended learning

During this period a blended-learning approach to learning will be adopted. Blended –learning can be defined as “An approach to learning that combines face-to-face and online learning experiences’’.

As a class we will be adopting the following approaches during this period:

1. Face-to-face time with pupils via the ‘check in, catch up and prepare sessions’.

2. Online learning via asynchronous learning - resources and activities delivered online (e.g. through Teams, HWB email etc.

3. Hard-copy & physical resources via paper packs & work booklets.

I have populated weekly resources for you to complete at home. Please use your Hwb account to access the class Teams area where the blended learning activities can be found. Children will be required to be organised while working from home. During the 'check in, catch up and prepare' sessions the weekly tasks will be explained and discussed with learners.

For those who are not returning just follow the weekly lessons from the table below in the weekly mission template and use their Hwb account to access TEAMS in Office 365. I will also record a video to explain and discuss the weekly tasks for those who are not returning.

You can also post queries to myself on our Class Teams account.

If you have a problem with your Hwb account then your parent/carer can email me : BannisterM@hwbmail.net
