'To be the best you can be' - Article 29

Spring term

Scented Garden

 

Our theme this Spring Term is called ‘The Scented Garden’ We are going to be learning all about our environment.  We will be discovering the enchanting fragrances of flowers and herbs, planting bulbs and seeds and then watching them grow beneath sunshine and showers.

We will explore the astounding world of the scented garden, watching out for the wild and dangerous plants out there.

We will look at the features of plants and the function of each part. We will visit garden centres and grow our own herbs. 

 

This term we will read a range of books such as 'Jim and the Beanstalk' and the 'The Tiny Seed'. 

We will be carrying out all our usually daily activities, e.g. Read Write Inc, numeracy skills.  Reading activities are carried out everyday.

  

We ask for a contribution of £5.00 per half term towards snacks and cooking.
