Summer Term 2020

Welcome back to the start of a new decade and topic - Beast Creator!

The children will learn about minibeast, deadly creatures, habitats and food chains to name but a few areas in our science theme, Beast Creator. This theme and related learning will develop the children’s knowledge about 'minibeasts' in our environment and the World beyond.

We will still be working hard on developing the children's independence and this will continue to be a target for us even in these exceptional times. They will need to become more responsible for their learning and general participation in school life so that they are ready for the World outside school and be able to make positive decisions that will help them be the best they can be.

Return to school and blended learning.

The link below shows the procedures we would like you to follow on return to school beginning 29th June 2020. These are for the Year 5/6 pupils in my class. Apologies for the actor we employed to do the video.

Following on after the video you'll see a word document which will hold the weeks activities. Each activity from the grid is on Teams using assignments. These will be delivered through Teams and will require the children to be organised in their learning organisation and work at home. During the catch up sessions in school a lot more will be explained. For those who aren't returning just follow the weekly lessons from the table below in the Weekly mission template and use their Hwb account to access TEAMS in Office 365.
